Last week I went to a lunch time concert in the music box auditorium featuring Simon Coverdale on piano and Tim Paxton on cello. They played two pieces, one by Beethoven and one by Shostakovich. Overall the concert was very enjoyable but of the two pieces, the Shostakovich was my favourite. Also their interaction with us as an audience was very good and they introduced both pieces very well. I think we should have more people coming to do lunch time concerts as its a nice change and they cover the concepts that Neil explains during his performance classes.
