Last Thursday morning we had a a visiting speaker from Drake Music Scotland. Drake Music Scotland is a charity based in Edinburgh which provides music to people with different disabilities. They also provide inclusion for disabled people and their able bodied peers. The person from Drake who was called Pete also showed us Sound Beam, a piece of technology which is shape like a small microphone but with a hand sensor inside. This is triggered by body movement and Pete asked for a first volunteer to try out the Sound Beam. I was the first person to put my hand up. I real enjoyed this opportunity in fact, I think Pete had to release the Sound Beam from me to let David, one of the pop students have a try. I would really like to pay a visit to Drake Music to see Sound Beam in action and possibly have a second go.
