On Saturday the 1st of September I performed at a cousins wedding in the village of Lindeen in Sellkirk. I was playing the celtic harp and the guests commented on how much they enjoyed my performance . I accompanied the bride, the groom and guests as they entered and exited the marquee. I performed a mixture of pop and traditional music such "When You Say Nothing at All" by Ronan Keeting and "The King of the Fairies" a traditional polka. I also accompanied the hymn singing during the service. The congregation was a little quiet to begin with as I was told that they were busy listening listening to my harp playing instead of singing, I think this was a great compliment.
